We love hearing about our babies as they grow and develop and we thought you might enjoy hearing about them too.

Larney

Alexandra - NZ

Hi Sandra- now that we have Larney for a year- it must be time to send
another email. She is the most adorable affectionate wee kitten that we could ever dream of having. We just love her to bits.
She is adored by my other two cats. They all get on very well. How'are your kitten families going?

Billie and Ted

Hawaii

Hi Sandra,

I can imagine how hard it was to say goodbye. They are so sweet and loving! My husband has already wanted to take them home with him as we are staying at my
parents home until they return tomm. (Sat). I reminded them that we have
visitation privileges.

Both Billie and Ted climbed right into bed with us last night. They are not shy about getting love and attention. Both have a great appetite as well. We have gotten them a large assortment of toys to play with and so far the glitter balls and the feather throw balls have been a hit.

I was surprised they adjusted so quickly to their new surroundings, they both just moved right on in :). We have been letting them explore the house on their own terms and it has worked out well. They are very curious :). Pictures to arrive soon .

Pearl

Auckland - NZ

Hi Sandra,
I just want to tell you how perfect our wee Pearl is.

She is so affectionate and pretty and sweet and gentle! She sleeps every night on my eldest daughter's bed (which causes a huge fight, as both kids want her on their bed). My girls think she is the best cat in the world! We call her our "Pearlie-Girl" - but it should be "Purry-Girl" as she has such a wonderful purr!!!!

Would be willing to let us take another of your babies to give Pearl a nice, loving friend to play with during the day? Only if you can guarantee it would be as super-duper as our Pearl though!?

I hope you like the attached photos. She's a real natural in front of the camera.

Warm regards

Dallas

Arnie & Poe

Greymouth

Hi Sandra,

They are amazing, only home 30 minutes and they own it already. They are into everything and they are all over my husband wanting cuddles, who has just fallen in love with them. Arnie is very much in his face, Poe sneaks up for a quiet cuddle. Both have used the litter box, showed them where is was and they went on their own. They are very smart cats.

Have sent the cage back to you via Fast ways. You should have it on Tuesday.

Thanks for everything

Janet

Will keep in touch

Hi Sandra,

Just to let you know that the boys are doing well, infact they own the house and us.

The kid’s were busy buying the boys toys to play with, but Poe found a detachable fur rim off my husbands coat and runs around with that.

Poe is always in an open draw, having a snoop and throwing stuff on the floor.

Arnie is also into everything, tells me when he thinks its tea time and when he wants a cuddle. He is always seconds behind me when I go to bed.

It’s been pretty cold here and the boys are up for breakfast and then go back to bed until about lunchtime. If we can’t find them they are usually in my bed.

It’s a real buzz when I get home they are waiting at the door to say hi and have a cuddle.

They provide an unlimited source of entertainment for hours.

Thanks.

Janet

Hi Sandra,

How are you, the boys are just perfect.

Probably kaos and mayhem are there middle names, but that’s ok, will send you some pics soon, got a new camera today, but have to wait for daughter to come home to load onto computer for me.

What we want to do is to build them an outdoor enclosure, ( with things to do )as it is getting to summer and the boys want to go more and more outside, we have got them harnesses, but would like to give them more freedom. I am really worried about the traffic here, logging trucks are unforgiving and the speeds the boys run around at, am just not prepared to loose either of them.

Have you any ideas, what to include or plans for any, space isn’t a problem.

Thanks

Janet

Hi Sandra,

There are two photocopies on there way, with laser prints to follow next week. The photo copies don’t do the pictures any justice but you will get an idea, but a lot of the detail isn’t there.

Boys are fine.

Arnie has developed god knows for better words a fetish!!!. He has decided that my husband’s armpits are cool,

Mike usually sleeps with one hand behind his head, which exposes an armpit, Arnie has decided that he can rub his head in it clean it and the nips it in the fold, all when mike is asleep, which scares mike when Arn bites him. I think it’s really funny, mike gets a fright and Arnie does a runner, little toad. It is so funny to watch.

Poe has decided that at this present time he is far too important for pats and cuddles, you may look but not touch.

He does however climb in the cupboards and takes the bag of cat biscuits and drops them near you, or even better comes running out with the bag of kitty treats and drops them and looks at you and meows very intensely.

Glad you like the prints

Cheers for now

Janet

The prints "Arnie" and "Poe" were drawn by Jeremy Leach, Illustrator. As you can see, Jeremy is extremely talented. Jeremy can be contacted at jeremyleach@msn.com

Mac

Wellington

Mac is just beautiful. He is fitting in so well, very, very affectionate. He has already ventured
outside but came straight in again when I called him. He has a lovely loving personality, doesn't he. I have an exotic female kitten, also 4
months old but twice his size. They are just starting to play together, it was very hard to leave for work this morning after watching them. I don't know how you can breed cats and let them go, it must be very hard. I love his little stripy legs.

My other cats are not bothering him very much except a few hisses. He is eating very well and is gaining confidence in his new home very quickly, I am quite amazed.

I am absolutely delighted with him. Looking forward to seeing him grow
into a beautiful big boy.

Cheers, Lesley

Leo

Hamilton

Hi just an update on our baby. He is loved and adored by everybody who comes
to visit, and of course he is just one of the family - the kids love him to pieces and he loves to share our bed at night, I couldn't imagine him not
being here with us, and he's still a great story teller.

Once again thank you very much for this gorgeous addition to our family.

Have a great weekend.

Hershey, Casper & Miphisto

Dunedin

Hi Sandra

Just a quick note to let you know that one year on all is great with the three cats – Hershey, Casper and Mephisto [now universally called Little Little as she is so small and delicate - and has enormous ears]. They get on fine with our other cats and the whole lot seem to gravitate to our bed during the day, and then to the big chair at night. They seem to have a wonderful life, there are no threats to them where we are so they roam in the garden at will and play all the time. When we are outside they [and the other cats] follow us round and get involved in whatever we are doing, weeding or pruning, or laying concrete or whatever.

What’s also lovely is that they are all just so different; Hershey is a clown but completely without any malice, she loves attention and has the most expressive tail of any cat we have known. Casper is an attention-seeker, a bit manipulative of the others and also as a boy tries to dominate quite a lot but with not much success. Little Little is slight, massive ears, and so pretty – and just incredibly agile as well, she can get to places that no other cat ever has, sometimes makes us gasp with her ability.

We are so glad we decided to ask you for all three on an impulse last year; no regrets at all.

Hope all is going well at Kaotik, and best wishes for a happy Christmas.

Andy & Alison

Yuri

Christchurch

Hiya Sandra,

Sorry I didn't get around to emailing you last night. Time just flew! Well Yuri arrived safe and well, bought out in his cage by a very large man with a big smile. I got out all the goodies, and gave the cage back to the guy.

Well Yuri is lovely! I thought he would take a lot longer to get used to us, (just going by past experience with my Siamese), but by evening he was purring and running around like a crazy thing. :) I can't get over how delicate he is, such fine bones! He's a teeny weeny little thing! And what a voice! Love it!

I already have a bundle of pics of Yuri that I will upload today, and I'll send you one later. He's a fast mover- lots of blurred action shots!

Thanks for our lovely purring Xmas present.

Talk soon.

Amanda and Neo.

Bella

Nelson

Dear Sandra

Thank you

Bella is adoreable.... we have all given her so much love and attention - she is already incredibly spoiled with all her new things and purring madly. I found my son had made a bed for himself, next to hers - she rather likes her new bed climbing over it and flipping her way into it....very amusing.

Raffy, has been jelous and hissed and made low throatal noises when he met her, and he has gone off in a huff.... This was a surprise to us, but she growled back and that was great..... it will perhaps take a few day for him to settle into a new presence around.

Thanks again and we will let you know how it all progresses.

Lucy

Duff

Auckland

Hi Sandra,

I thought you may like to know that Duff is doing very well and is a happy
little boy! (as you can see from the pictures!) He loves the Rabbit (a bit
more than she loves him!) And Vespa and Bella are playing with him. He was a
very good boy in the car on the ride home ... I will send you more pictures
as I take them :)

Eagor

Cambridge

Hi there Sandra
Just a quick update...
Eagor has settled in well. Frankenstein has now accepted him and they play all the time (although Frankenstein lets him know when she's had enough). Eagor has tabby markings coming through his coat in a darker chocolate too. I like it, it's 'distinctive'.
Ivan treats Eagor like his baby and defrosts mince, steak and bacon for him as a treat.
All my friends like Eagor, after they get over the size of his ears and figure out that yes, Eagor is a cat. :-)
My friend with the Burmeses, got to meet Eagor the other day and I recon if she didn't have 4 cats already, you'd hear from her for another Eagor 'look a like'.
Well, must go. My dog had 9 pups 4 weeks ago and I can hear them starting to sing for their supper.
Thanks again and when I can download the pictures off my camera, I'll send you a few.
Sincerely
Kylee and Clan
P.S
Hope you had a great xmas and a good New Years. I loved the email card you sent. Awesome!

Cassius

Cambridge

Hi sandra.

Cassius settled in straight away, he loves the huge bed he gets to sleep in with mummy and i think he has already discovered he is in charge.

Had a huge laugh at him last night, gave him some mince and what a performance. He was talking the whole time he ate it, like he was racing before any other cat came and stole his food.

He is so well behaved and lovely, had trouble getting out of bed this morning, he just lays there and purrs. Last night he walked around a few times looking for his brothers and sisters but not too bad, it's to be expected. I think Justyn has already fallen for him, he he, how
can he not.

Thanks!

Kira

Auckland

Hi Sandra,

Long time no photos from us so I thought I'd send you through some more ...
Kira's favourite toys are: ping pong balls, a box and a plastic spoon and her scratching post ... all photos included.

Meshka and Kira still have a love hate relationship but are quite happy to eat next to one another. They've started chasing each other round now so hopefully wont be long till they actually enjoy this with each other ...

The new house is just about painted so still haven't moved in (much to my dismay) but should be there within the next 2 weeks.
So will see what new dimension this adds to their relationship.

Kira is a cuddly wee bear and loves to snuggle and play.
We absolutely adore her, thanks again!
Jolee and Simon

Penny

Napier

Hi Sandra
I am sorry I have been slow off the mark in letting you know about Penny.
She is the darling of the family. We all just love her to bits.
She traveled well, back to Napier. When we arrived she explored the house from top to toe, in all the cupboards and drawers. She is a real nosie little girl. She discovered the hot water cupboard and every opportunity she gets in and snuggles up in the clean clothes and has a sleep.
We have her sleeping in the lounge with her bed next to the fire. After she is fed in the evening she is tucked into her polar fleece blanket in the basket and we dont hear from her until the morning. Once she hears us though she keeps calling out until we go out and feed her.
She loves getting into bed in the mornings especially this week as the early mornings have been frosty. John encourages her. He is sooo soft.
John is enjoying the company during the day. She trots out behind John ( just like our foxie use to do ) to the office and loves it when he gets on his computer. She chases the keys and swings at his fingers. He says she is such a distraction.
It interesting when people call in as John shows off the new member of the family like she was a human baby. He is really thrilled with wee Penny.
I say wee, but she has grown noticeable since we brought her home, she has become pretty and feminine.
She is not a great fan of the out doors yet but probably once summer comes she will be looking for the cool shade in the trees.
Thank you again for our lovely Penny. She is a very precious Puss.
I am not too sure how to send photos via email but I will get one of the girls to help me with the process.
Hope you are keeping well and not gone down with the winter bugs.
Kind regards
Marie

Chow

USA

Hey Sandra,

Well little mis Chow has arrived safely and just in time to avoid a snow storm. She was defiantly ready to get out of her little travel cage, and i think her voice is a bit horse due to all the talking she must have done along the way. Haha poor thing when i picked her up she let me know in no uncertain terms that she had had quite enough of her little cage and was done with the whole experience. In fact she told me all about it for the entire 30min care drive :).

She is sooooooo adorable everything we thought shed be and more so far. shes much smaller than I was hinking she would be, which of course adds to her cuteness! Well needless to say it was love at first sight. She has
absolutely no fear of anything but I could tell that she was ready for some human comfort. She is beautiful, her coat is just stunning. Haha she is so playful to, and very much in love with Adam already I think. We are so delighted to have her here inally I cant tell you enough how happy she has already made us, or thank you enough for all you have done. I'll write you a more detailed email later. For now we are just beat and I'm sure little chow is too.

Good night from the US and Chows new home.

best,

Maegan & Adam

Oh btw, registering her isn't necessary unless you'd like us to actually show her. We are perfectly happy not show her and don't have much interest in it.

Max

Bay of Plenty

Hi Sandra,
I wish you could see how much Max has grown, he is more than twice the
size he was when we first got him and he has got us wrapped around his
tiny little paws well and truly. He has decided he wants a change of diet
so we have been tempting him with all sorts he certainly knows when he is
well off. We are ready for another little baby, preferably a little girl
hopefully something with silver similar to your beautiful 'Magz', can you
please keep us posted. Next time we are going to Te Awamutu we would love
to call in for a visit, but I will certainly let you know beforehand.
I will try and put some pictures of Max on the computer so I can send you
some.
Kind regards
Joy

Effi & Bri

Te Aroha

Sandra these are the most wonderful little cats. They have slept in our bed,
met two of the three cats here, spend the entire day either smooching or
playing, they're both happily using the dirt box and chasing their
chicken-necks around.
Thanks!

Peter and Rebecca

Zuka

Auckland

Dear Sandra

Once at home it took Zuka only a good half an hour to become familiar with the whole house! (It took Zimba weeks) and within an hour he was asserting his territory with Zimba! Zuka is a very confident and lovely kitten, - talkative, - demanding, - and full of curiosity. Yesterday I was a little worried about how the two might get on and if I had done the right thing, - you know will they like each other, - will they always be fighting and hissing. Today I feel glad about my decision. The two boys managed to sleep in the same bed last night (mine) and this morning their play changed to hide and seek as opposed to hissing and lashing out. All afternoon they have been sleeping/snuggling up together on the couch. I am so happy.

It was lovely to meet you.

I will stay in touch and send a photo.

Best Wishes

Kitt

Asha

Hamilton

Hi Sandra,

just thought I would give you a quick email with an update of how Asha is going. She has taken to us and the place really well hopefully she wont
mind our move this weekend into our new home. She has meet our boy (our 5 month old kitten) and they get a long really well which was a bit easier and sooner than we thought. We had a question about the stich in her belly,
will she need to go to the vet to get this removed and if so when. She is such a lovely girl and a good hot water bottle at night, she has taken to
sleeping under the blankets in bed. Anyways I must get going, we'll be sure to keep in touch and send photos of her.

Kiki

Cambridge

Hi Sandra .

Kikis here with me working just now. After an hour she became very hyper jumping and bouncing and into everything, which has'nt stopped, she spent the next few hour in our bedroom with miya settling in with haku sniffing around the rest of the house till late afternoon. Later we had her in the living room playing, we noticed haku had sneaked in and was watching she spotted him followed him like a love sick puppy every where and he watched her and followed her when she stopped. Then the played for hours under our close watch never a growl or paw away instant buddies even if he ignored kiki to start, we didn't plan for them to meet for 3 days. Last night she cuddled into neve and went to sleep on the sofa (neve was already a sleep). She spent her first night asleep in my bed cuddled into me till 4am when she switched to liz.

It's 6am and she thinks she a web designer, she keeps altering my pages lol she watches my hand as I type it so funny watching her head trying to keep up with my hand. She also seems to like the tv dancing her head up and down to the movements of dancers on tv.

I can't believe how confident she is, she is so much fun never seen a wee kitten go on like her she is doing amazingly. I am shocked how quickly she has fitted in.

Cheers

Craig

Criket

Owaka

Hi Sandra, just a few quick snaps of Criket taken this morning and a couple of his mates - Doobie Cat and Hogan the Boxer pup - he's great! sleeps with me, shares my food if he gets half a chance, was a race to eat a sausage roll while driving in the car a couple of weeks ago - we started at each end and bludy near met in the middle! Funny as!
He likes to go driving, plays with the dogs and other cats, ALWAYS sleeps with me - under the blankets, he's such good company ;-)
Hey when is his next vaccine due please? I don't see a date for future vaccines on his card...
Ciao for now

Armani

Cambridge

Hi Sandra , how are you, armani is such a honey we tryed to keep him in room and in cage when in the lounge for 2-3 days but he wants to be with us and all over us all day so cute, cass was really not keen for first few days so we had them in room on harnasses for awhile, but armani totally adores cassius and wont leave him alone, poor cass just walks around like a grumpy old man and armani stalks him and atacks his tail, im sure cass secreatly likes him because we have caught him playing back:). I made armani a shepskin bed and put on pillow beside me but he wont have a bar of it and has to sleep under the blankets also, loves lots of cuddles. Its great i now have another fly hunter, cass is a good fly hunter too keeps them busy for hours. Armani is a scavanger and will eat anything the kids drop, or everything if there plates are lying around, has a soft spot for mash potatoes we try not to allow this lol. he has had no accidents and always goes in his tray which is great. we took them both to the vets the other day he went on the harness and was such a good boy, got wormed and flees like cass. we love him sooooo much, thanks a million. let me no when u would like to come vist the boys.
Take care
Natasha, alex, briely, sophia, cassius, armani:)

Anubi

Hong Kong

Dear Sandra

Here are some pictures from today morning. The last four ones took
Marko. Anubi is already coming to us. When Marko waked up in the
morning, Anubi was sleeping in his bed. She is eating, but not too
much and already used the litter box. She is wonderful.

In a few days I will write you again.
I wish you all the best.

Kind regards,
Lenka

Zeppy

Hamilton

Hi Sandra
I've been meaning to email you and let you know how she's going too. My son turned five today so we've been busy with all the party preparations. Lucy has been renamed to Zeppelin or Zeppy for short,(a little boyish but never mind). she's noisy, nosy and naughty!! so fits in perfectly with my kids. We are learning quickly to not leave food or drink lying around, she even took a swig of Kyle's coffee the other day and went back for seconds! a few pieces of Riley's toast have also been sneakily munched on. The kids adore her and Kalim told me that we chose the bestest cat in the world and she's incredibly tolerant of them and very smoochy. She hasn't me our dog Kaeo yet, just seen her through the ranchslider or she'll go within a few meters of her when she's inside. She' s had her vaccination and when she got jabbed it was the only time she was quiet the whole visit there. She is very cuddly and usually on my knee, even if she has to contort herself around the kids if they are also on me. She is a lovely, lovely cat with lots of personality.

Hope the new kittens are all still doing well.
Kind regards,
Rochelle

Bailey & Jo Jo

Hi Sandra

Not in our wildest dreams did we think the cats would be as good as they are, a breeze driving home, slept and not a sound till around 6am this morning, using the dirt box as good as, and just fitted in real well. Eating well, tuna last night, chicken and yogurt to day. They both are just wonderful. Caught Baily trying to bite his sisters stitch last night and we had to stop him but apart from that no trouble at all.
Both sound asleep on a blanket on the couch.
Cold as here to day and no sun.
Regards.
